Antenor Auction presents a new online sale dedicated to 20th century design.
Belgian designer Pol Quadens will be honoured with two important pieces: the Blade console table and the Flint Miami sculpture.
Born in 1958, Quadens is known for his minimalist approach and innovative use of materials such as carbon and stainless steel. After starting out in automotive design, he turned his attention to creating furniture and sculptures with a sleek, futuristic style. His work explores lightness, curves and the relationship between technology and aesthetics.
The Blade console table, made of polished stainless steel, embodies the precision and purity of lines dear to Pol Quadens, combining visual lightness and technical rigour.
His fluid and organic Flint Miami sculpture reflects a search for balance between movement and matter, evoking the tension between nature and contemporary design.
