Pol Quadens (b. 1960) - Lot 23
Pol Quadens (b. 1960) Blade console in stainless steel Prototype, unique piece, signed. H: 95 x W: 210 x D: 30 cm "Blade" is not even a drawing, it's a gesture, a stroke. Its speed is generated by the seemingly precarious balance of its overhang. I play with the limits of stability to upset classical notions of equilibrium. Bibliography: Pol Quadens, Back to steel, Design and sculpture from 2014 to 2020. p. 16.
