PAIRE D’ANGES PAIR OF SCULPTED WOOD ANGELS Brabant, Antwerp or Brussles, circa 1510-1530 In carved, gilt and polychrome decorated wood Standing, legs bent, an arm raised above their heads. Tthey are wearing long wavy locks of hair falling on the nape of the neck and are dressed in a long tunic H: 45 cm Provenance : -Collection Michel van Gelder (1864 – 1929), Château Zeecrabbe, Uccle, Brussels -Tehn by descent to the present owners
